Biographical Information:

 

Doris Lieder was born in Hanover, Minnesota to parents who owned the River Inn. Her family moved to Rockford when she was five. They opened a grocery store that served the local market and many of the guests at the resorts on Lake Sarah. She married Robert Sinclair and lived out of the area until 1972 when she returned to care for her parents.
