Biographical Information:
Marvin Bursch was born in 1940 in rural Greenfield to a farming family. He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1957, served in the military, worked construction for some time, and then decided to pursue a career in owning local bars. He married and raised a family and moved two miles to his current home in 1968.

Information on rural life and entertainment, particularly as it pertained to Marvin’s experience owning the Hilltop and Corner Bar. Other topics include the Lake Sarah Pavilion fights and events; raccoon feeds at Wally’s resort; and local fishing.
