Biographical Information:
Don Vergin was born west of Rockford to a farming family and lived there until 1945 when his father sold it and began Vergin Trucking. He married Mary Zaske in 1956 and they raised four children in Rockford until moving to Motley, Minnesota. He has served the Lions Club for over 50 years, receiving many awards during his life.
